Raleigh, NC.  Forever Bridal attended the Triangle Bridal Association’s annual Panel of Brides meeting last night at the prestigious Cardinal Club & Capital City Club.  Many of our fellow TBA Members attended to learn the first hand experiences directly from our target market.  With a great turnout of Brides and Grooms, in depth conversations where had as we wedding professionals get the ability to listen to what they have to say and experience the wedding planning process from their side.  Truly great information for all of us that can make a difference in how we operate our business and communicate with the brides.  Thank you TBA and Cardinal Club for all the great food, drinks and a incredible view of downtown.  Special thanks to the our contributing TBA members; Fleuressence for supplying all the wonderful flowers, Island Sound Dj’s & Video for providing the music, Sweet Memories Bakery for the awesome cake and A Special Event for the decor and linens.  We are certainly looking forward to the next TBA meeting.

The Triangle Bridal Showcase was held on October 23rd, 2011 at the Sheraton Chapel Hill.  This upscale event had over 60 companies on display trying to impress the brides and their fellow business associates alike with their presentation of there products and services.  Three awards were handed out at the Vendor Blender, the elite after show party. 

The Outstanding New Exhibitor Award was presented to Maupin Travel.

The Outstanding Booth Award was presented to Bernard’s Formal Wear.

The Vendors Choice Award was presented to Red Bridge Photography.

Laura DiGirolamo, owner of Forever Bridal Productions, Raleigh, NC is in Las Vegas this week for the annual board of directors meeting for Bridal Show Producers International (BSPI).  BSPI is an international association that represents the top bridal producers in the United States, Canada and many other countries.   One of 12 on the BSPI board, Laura is  responsible for the associations’ Image & Branding.  Founded in 1996, BSPI has laid the foundation for the standards and ethics governing the bridal trade show industry.  This prestigious position is well deserved as Laura and her company has been a leader in our market since 1995.

October in the Triangle… known for many sports teams season openers, the State Fair and the changing of the leaves.. and now The Triangle Bridal Showcase.  On October 23rd, we hosted our 10th Triangle Bridal Showcase at the Sheraton Chapel Hill.  Hundreds of people showed up to a beautiful ballroom filled with over 60 the areas best wedding businesses.   The show featured roaming models with designs from Davids Bridal and Mens Wearhouse… a variety of wedding related vendors, a table top display area and a photographers gallery.

Forever Bridal Productions is excited to announce and welcomes BJ”s Membership Club as our newest Show Sponsor.  Beginning with our fall show in 2011, Bj’s Membership Club will join Men’s Warehouse and Belks as Forever Bridal’s Corporate Event Sponsors.  BJ’s Membership Club has an array of products that they can offer to the bride.  Jewelry, Cosmetics, Cruises, Cakes, Travel and Vacation Packages will be represented by BJ’s at all the Shows produced by Forever Bridal Productions.

Sonny Ganguly with Wedding Wire gave a very relevant speech last night about Social Media and how to maximize your exposure in the wedding industry using it.

One of Sonny’s main points included You-Twit-Face… referring to the social media giants, You Tube, Twitter and Face Book and how these outlets are capturing our target market at a staggering pace.

Currently about 75% of all engagements are being posted on Face Book, and in a few short years, that is predicted to be close to 100%

The Raleigh Convention Center will be the location for the 2012 Wedding Show.  The Wedding Show will take place on January 27th & 28th.  Brides can purchase tickets online at www.foreverbridal.net

Forever Bridal announced that their fall edition of the Southern Bridal Show & Expo will now be expanded to two days.  With the consistency in growth over the last 15 years, the 2012 show deserves to be extended so the brides and the businesses maximize the opportunity the show provides…
